Classes
I’m so proud to have taught under the name of Yoga 2.46 since 2018. When I opened the doors of my little studio it was my dream to share the hot power vinyasa style of yoga that impacted me so profoundly. I’m forever grateful to those who have supported me over the past 6 years (!) as the venue changed from in person to online and the practice has evolved and changed. Unfortunately, it isn’t sustainable for me to continue offering weekly online classes, so with more than a bit of sadness, I will teach my last weekly Zoom class on April 31st.

One thing yoga has taught me is to embrace the impermanence of things. The fifth Yama – Aparigraha – is non-attachment. Thich Nhat Hanh says “It’s not impermanence that makes us suffer. What makes us suffer is wanting things to be permanent when they are not.” So, while I’m disappointed that this current version of Yoga 2.46 is ending, I’m also hopeful for what comes next.

I will continue operating Yoga 2.46 as the umbrella under which I teach in local Boise studios and for workshops. I’ll be offering my first Yoga 2.46 40-Hour Yin certificate training in the coming months. If the in person offering takes off, I may offer it online!

I still believe online yoga and mindfulness practices are viable and sorely needed, so over the summer hiatus I will regroup. I anticipate offering 1 or 2 monthly 90- minute Yin & Nidra classes on Saturday or Sunday starting in the Fall and will announce those here.

Thank you so much for accompanying me on this amazing journey!

With love & gratitude,
Justina
